took advantage of the 70% off at Orchard Supply
wiped them out on the 1/2" hard copper(110')
as well as about $40 worth of fittings straps etc.
Yea the price at retail was high but at 70% it brought it all down to less than $100.

I just did 140’ of copper 1/2”. I used M grade instead of L. 5 drops. And spent more like $200 with fittings and fasteners. Probably PEX-AL-PEX is the way to go but I had never worked with PEX.

I didn't put in air-lines in my garage, I just use a retractable air hose. But if I were to put in air-lines I would most likely go with black threaded pipe. Not saying copper is bad, just saying I personally like the idea of threaded pipe better. The price for the copper pipe and fittings was really good, around here anything copper is really high priced.

I have more questions than answers.
Smart. While black pipe has some advantages, I have both on my system. I like the copper runs better.

The rehab store had a bunch of copper fittings, the manager told me if I bought all of them I could have them for .10 a piece. Of course I bought them all. Now just to find some more pipe for the price you did...
