Wow......

When near everything else was broken ypu can still get the special tool lines.

That said I have two B@D electric adjustables in home use. I love gimmick tools. Those work well in clean jobs.

The Extreme Grip 3/8 Ratchet is great and someone posted a nice deal for it a while back and I bought one.

Get one of those if it goes under $15.

Picked up the set of the locking adjustables for $20 out of pocket. At first glance they seem about like I expected.

One of the main things I sometimes grab an adjustable for is to hold the nut or bolt head on the backside of something just to keep it from turning while I impact or ratchet it from the other side.

These look like they will be useful for that. Time will tell. They do have a plastic release lever that I suspect will be the weak link if I over-tighten them. EDIT: Actually I think the release lever is metal. It has some flex to it and feels sort of plasticky.

I think you will find the decent general purpose tools at best. Like my electrics they do bike stuff perfectly and home ok. Car stuff they really are poor.

Just keep them in the sweet spot where they do best.
