New Craftsman Ratchets

My wife and I were in Lowes the other evening to buy new Door hardware for a new Front door. (whole 'nother story) And while she was shopping I slid over to the tool section.. They had three "new" CM ratchets on display:
- A 120 tooth smooth handle pear head
- A 72 tooth smooth handle and
- An older style "Iconic" ratchet (60 tooth?).
I must say the 120 tooth was a thing of beauty. I did not take a picture but it felt very very good in my hand...

Anyone touch these 120 tooth ratchets? It felt very nice..

old news, been covered already. They've been at Lowes for months. Search is your friend.

The 120 has been out for almost a year. Most of us tool snobs aren't too impressed since its fitted together like a ratcheting wrench and cant be serviced.

I see...
I just repaired a small old Proto 1/4" pear head. I can understand that.. Kudos to CM for getting on the **** shape train anyhow..

I've never worried about sealed rats ever. If they get gunked up I soak em in acetone and dip em in ATF. Some people are divas

The Craftsman 51 pc. set was on sale at Lowes after Christmas. Picked one up. The ratchet works fine, the handle shape is different in a good way. I actually dont mind the gun metal chrome finish.

Dont use it much, just a spare socket set kept under the seat of one of the trucks.
