I ordered some new craftsman sockets that are supposed to arrive today. Are the new craftsman sockets made in the USA or these like certain other things where some are USA and some are some other country?

Are the new sockets made in the USA stamped "USA"?

Thanks,

Despite what the doomsayers proclaim, a remarkable amount of Craftsman's basic hard line tools are still made domestically. I picked up a socket set as a gift a week or two ago, and every one was stamped USA. I think the only sockets made off shore are the new universal fit everything sockets in a black oxide finish.

They'll be USA made and should be marked as such.

All Craftsman sockets except for the Craftsman Evolve are currently marked USA.

I believe the new black spline sockets and black ratchets are Asian.

My one worry is eventually when I break a Craftsman tool, will it be replaced with the "current" cheap import POS with the Craftsman name?
