Figured I'd make my presence known...just started construction on a 30x40 yesterday. I have a lot of plans as well as about 35 years of stuff I've been waiting to put into a shop; I will be looking to this board for help, just like I have the other Atomic boards. Thanks for having me.

Welcome!!! From the zip code in your profile I see you're in E-Town. My B-I-L lives off of 1638 going toward Brandenburg. Great area, been there many times!!! Good luck on your shop build, I have a 30 by 40 as well.

UPDATE ON MY POLE BARN:

I hired James Dupin/ LD Construction LLC from Irvington KY, on Oct 16, 2016 to build a 30' x 40' pole barn and a carport. Four months later, I am left with a shoddy skeleton of rotting wood and shallow footers..basically, a total failure. The structure has failed both a framing and footing inspection, that I had to request, since Dupin did not.

I will continue updating as I find more damage. I received a quote of $14,000 JUST TO REPAIR this garbage he left, on top of what James M Dupin has already stolen from me.
