New drill press for me!

Didn't know where to post this, but I had to tell somebody cause I am stoked on this deal. I have been trolling Craigslist for a few months for a decent standing drill press. I haven't seen much, everyone wants $300 for stuff I wouldn't pay $50 for. Was out of town for a conference Friday and on my way back stopped by an outlet mall that has a Direct Tools Factory Outlet. I have always heard good things but had never stopped.

Walked in and they had a load of Ridgid re-manufactured and "Blemished" tools. Saw this with a tag of $250. The guy tells me if I spend $250 I get $75 off. So $175 plus tax and I am a happy camper! I looked online and it is $400 to $499. It was "blemished" which I was told means the box is a bit messed up. Normal Rigid Warranty applies.

I bout mine when they were being clearances out at the stores. I think that it drill quite nice. Get a nice vise for the table and all is good.

Not to spoil your deal but they were $74 and change and they offered me 50% off since the box was split open pretty badly at one end.

Make sure that you register it for the LSA.
