It could be a long drum-roll.

I'll have to periodically check in from work to catch the much anticipated awards ceremony.

I wonder who will win Miss Congeniality (always a sure-fire sign you're not winning the whole kit and kaboodle)?

I am so overwhelmed! I will be announcing the winner soon (today). I finally just got through all the questions and PM's from the weekend. Be patient, I will be back shortly. Though it would be nice if all I had to do all day was hang out in the GJ

my order showed up today, along with the concrete crew to pour the slab! went back and forth on the color choice as well but I ended up going with taupe for a base coat . for flakes i went with the brown, black, and white flake mix with a medium heavy broadcast.

Christine, seems like a case of stage fright here?

I haven't given up, just have to learn some new software to get the video done.. hoping this weekend works out.

ssathre is knee deep in cement, dd564 must be prepping his shop and formek is out riding..

Sit tight, I've got the winner coming up soon!!!!

OMG, this thread is too slow!!!

Christine, I'm sorry I couldn't keep this one going. Listed my house mid May, sold in 4 days! The house inspection was completed on Sunday and they found a few things I had to fix. Been super busy, but have been working on my video too.. unfortunately, video editing is a skill I'm learning, not one I have.

I'll have my video posted by the deadline.. wondering if the others have just been holding back... Formek.. where are you!???

I have been super busy as well. the garage is going up so there has been a lot to do there. I also have two pinball machines that I'm restoring while trying to meet a deadline that at this point might not be do-able.

I can't wait for my shop!

I’m new here to Garage journal and came across the site while researching online different brands of epoxy coatings/which was the “best”. I would like to first say that this is an amazing forum and I’m extremely glad that I came across it; secondly this thread has made my decision process final!

After reading through this thread and the previous give away thread I have decided with 100% confidence that I will be using Epoxy-Coat for my garage in my new home when I get back from Afghanistan. This decision wasn’t made in hopes that I could get a free kit in the future but because to me a product is only as good as its customer service and Epoxy-Coat customer service seems to be the best of the best so I’m sure that the products is top ranking as well.

Congratulations to all the winners of this contest and enjoy what seems to be an outstanding product

I do have a question for you for future reference; there are some people that have a logo such as corvette or the shops name in their garage flooring as part of the epoxy coating. Is this done using a vinyl graphic laid over the base coat then cleared over with the rest of the floor, by painting the logo over the basecoat then clearing, maybe both ways?

It seems busy is the word of the month! :wtf:
I expected this thread would be on fire after the brawl in the last one....

Well.. anyway, after a month of learning  and making mistakes  and asking for help, I finally got my video for the contest :) .
I'm half expecting dd564 to come in and amaze us with a great montage:thumbup:, but at this point, in for a penny/in for a pound, right?

Formek was supposed to have his floor party this month.. didn't happen because of bad weather and the better half not feeling so well..
I was on my way there when.....
