I chose Austin Epoxy Floors to do the work. They use Arizona Epoxy products.

Weather permitting, we'll do this Wed-Fri next week.

This will be a diamond grind, base coat, flake to rejection, clearcoat.

Color should match the existing wall color pretty well:

Check out the smaller 1/8" chips, they are not as busy and have a nice slip resistant finish. Be sure they will seal it with poly-urethane or poly-aspartic. Epoxy will yellow over time. Arizona Polymer Flooring is a great company for your products. Their website probably has examples of the smaller chips.

First steps done. Arizona Polymers E400 with a heavy flake.

Turns out there was a scratchcoat on the floor from some previous repairs (house is ~28 years old and we've owned it for about 4). Diamond grind went really quickly as a result. Guy says everything is fine.

Clear coat tomorrow using Arizona Polymers P-100.

Here it is with the clear. Some imperfections/irregularities in the concrete itself, but all in all I'm happy with the results.

Turned out great. I am ordering my floor materials from Arizona polymers as well. From what I have read, this is a great system. Fingers crossed mine turns out as pretty as yours.

Do you think those imperfections could be a result of uneven grinding? At www.TexasToughTops.com, we at Texas Tough Tops in Austin, TX have laid hundreds of thousands of square feet and that would be the first question I would ask. But overall, it looks pretty good. Just too bad to have these imperfections.

Replying to a thread thats a year old just to point out the possible imperfections of a competitor... classy
