Wow! Great job! Very impressive. Looks great.

Just curious why you went with 5 coats of the Devran 224v -- I personally did a primer, main coat with flakes, and then a single Devthane 379UV clear coat. I'm sure the extra coats help make everything nice an even, and of course provide extra thickness.

Acid etching was not needed... your prep was exceptional for a coating system like this. End result looks awesome though. How many man hours of labor would you estimate you had here?

Hi, I am working on my garage this weekend and now think of applying a clear coat based on how well your floor came out. What was the process on applying 2 coats of clear? did you apply one coat on the entire floor and then apply the 2nd coat right after? or do you let it dry a bit?

A note about urethane: the urethane resin (base) is an even milky white color when thoroughly mixed. The hardner is clear. And when the mixed urethane is rolled, it goes on clear.

Knowing when the product is mixed properly is probably the most important thing to know and be able to achieve regarding the coating itself. Because if it hardens correctly and looks even in color, then any other issues, such as roller marks or drips, can be fixed.
