I was working with a very nice but small welding table and found my projects and my abilities were begining to outgrowing my table. Here is my new table with a 36 x 72 x .5 steel top. I had my steel supply waterjet a couple of spots to clamp and position items. The left side has hammer storage the right has clamp storage. Half of the back is covered with .125 steel sheet that has brackets for my filler rod tubes. The left has space underneath that is measured to hold a basic Craftsman 4/5 drawer rolling tool chest (for later maybe). Feet were purchased from Reid supply and hammer into the square tube legs so that the table can be adjusted and leveled.
Ignore the rest of the garbage...the projects never end. Hope you enjoy.

Gloveman - The feet are from Reid Industrial supply. Good place to order casters and things like this. Get a catalog for your shop.

John - Thank you!

Falcon - Thanks. Its Rustoleum enamel spray can - Saftey Blue. Home Depot carries it and Ace.

Nice shop, and very useable table. What are the green drawer cabinets against the wall? Man I like those, even the color.
Do you work on bike's mostly?

excellent job! How much did it run you to get the holes water jetted? I'm building a table myself and wouldn't mind a few T cutouts for clamping.

Bugthug - thank you. Yes, mostly bikes. The cabinets are old Stanley Vidmars I picked at auction a few years back.

Z28snksnkr - I'm sure prices vary. They charged my $100 for the water jetting. Seems steep to me but if it saved me from having to haul it around I was paying it.

Great looking table. The 1/2" top is fantastic. Great size, good design. Nice work on the rod holders.

Wilb1976 - It is a multitool attachment from Trick Tools aka www.vansantent.com. I do like it as a cheaper alternative to a Kalamazoo, etc. I think it is somewhat off balance with that larger attachement on the right and because of that it wants to pull left (if you set it on the shop floor and turn it on it will do circles all day) but once its bolted down its of no concern. Also, I find it a little loud. But, it does the job its asked and does it quite well. I spent the better part of the day today building a wall mount for it. Here it is:

Looks nice. I would have used a receiver hitch setup. That would let me move it between the workbenches easily.

Portability is great for lots of things in the shop, but its a 60-70lbs bench grinder and sander combo. I don't think ill want to move that around too much.

Great table.

What is the frame work made of?
Looks like 1"x4" and 3"x3"?
What is the wall thickness?

Mike, thanks for the heads up, I'll be checking into that. Nice mount for it too.
