I picked up a few old but new to me tools today, a Keller power hacksaw, Marquette welder and a parts washer. The Keller power hacksaw seems to work great but I am having a problem finding any info on Keller. At somepoint someone has removed the vise from the saw. I have searched but can not come up with any info on keller or if parts are still available. Does anyone know where or if it will be possible to find the rest of the vise for it?

I just could not pass on this welder also, I have not tested yet but I really like the way it looks.. :rocker:

The good news is that I have seen those and can tell you fabricating a replacement won't be too tough

that welder is tight, if it don't work, I'd gut it and put a 5 gal igloo cooler inside with the tap sticking out that bottom lead plug in the front, spray foam insulate around it and done.

I was trying to decide what to make out of it if it did not work but I found out tonight that it works. I guess it may get a clean up and paint soon, I havent used my other stick welder in years but who knows one day it may get used.

As for the hacksaw I have talked to a couple people today and no one has good news for finding a replacement vise, I guess making one might be the quickest way.

Keller was sold to a company in Alabama and was still around up to about 4 years ago. It seemed to be a part-time thing as it was hard to get in contact with them. Then they just disappeared.

I picked up a Keller power hacksaw a two years ago... it's patiently waiting its turn to be rebuild.
I can't imagine why the hell I need it, but damn they are kinda cool!

Everyone says they make a perfectly square cut, so that's what I'm telling myself is the justification for keeping it.
