wish it was a bit bigger now but... not alot of room

Chris, most of us would agree that you could build it 200X200 and it wouldn't be big enough. Just make good use of the space you have with some of the organizational tips you'll find here and enjoy it. Very sharp looking garage!

That is the truth.

My Dad started out in 1983 with an 18x18. In 91, built a 25x30 2 storage and then in ~95 added an 18x16 lean too on the back of it.
In 2000, bought a 45x70 "for storage" a couple miles from the house and then in 2008 built a 26x26 on the other side of the house. (have a couple acres).

Went I when to visit about a month ago he was saying he should have built the last one 30x30... or maybe a bit bigger.
It was a barebones with no insulation, no heat and a few lights. Well now he insulated it and sheathed all the walls/ceiling as well as put a furnace in there.

Looks good. Reminds me alot of the 20x20 I built. What size door did you use?

Chris,

The good thing about a small garage is that you can only fit one or two projects in there and you won't have too many projects going all at the same time! I have a small garage too, but I have friends who are "enablers" so I'm currently running 6 projects simultaneously... Who wants to bet how quick any of them will be finished in a reasonable amount of time?

You can never go big enough, I was considering renovating my 18'x26' garage for a bedroom bathroom etc, and gutting my house to use it as a 25'x46' garage.
