Picked this up today from Craigslist $50. Really neat, I don't plan on using it much just maybe a nice restoration. Anybody know the capacity and if there's a way to do a controlled lowering of is it just an all or nothing deal. Thanks.

Every mechanical jack Ive ever had ratcheted down similar to how they ratchet up, similar to how a come-along ratchets up and down. Not to sound like a jerk or the safety police, but dont worry about the capacity. Use it once or twice to lift a corner of a light (<3500 lbs) vehicle to say you did, then hang it on a wall as decoration.
