Wolverine Coatings is now offering to the retail market its AcryliSeal 3501. It's a water based sealer, so it can be shipped and applied in all states. Its chemical resistance is pretty good as far as acrylics are concerned. But, it's no epoxy. The chemical resistance of Wolverine Coatings' LiquaTile 1184 or BondTite 1101, that we also offer, is significantly higher. However, AcryliSeal 3501 is a lot less expensive.
In addition to being cheap it also doesn't require much prep. For older surfaces a good cleaning is sufficient, maybe a pressure washing. If you're having a new floor poured avoid having it hard troweled, you want the sealant to be able to penetrate the surface a bit.
It will provide some protection, keep down the dust, and give your concrete that wet look.
