So the slab is done and framing will start this week. Should I coat the floor before the drywall goes in. Seems to me that sealing the floor before getting covered in mud and dust would be the way to go... I used the search function but did not find an answer. Maybe a primer before drywall and then a proper coating afterward?

How long has your slab been poured and what are you coating it with?

The slab was poured 10 days ago. It will be another 3 weeks or so before it is under roof and electric is run... As far as what I am going to put down. Beats the **** out of me. First I was going to acid stain and top with Legacy HD6600. Then decided that I wanted epoxy, then started read all the various post in the forum and am now thoroughly confused....

The 24x37 garage will be for car repair/restoration with limited welding... Lots of fluids will get on floor with various projects. I want something that does not get sticky when you get gas or brake cleaner on it. Cost is a factor, but am willing to spend more for a better finished product.
