Hey I just heard about this site, and just registered. I currently do my automotive hobbies out of a two car garage. I hope to later this year build a 30x40 shop. My wife is actually encouraging me to do it, because since I use oxy-acetylene she is afraid I will burn the house down. None of us want that. She also wants to convert the garage into a game room, and the carport into the garage. And because of that I have been looking around. There are quite a few choices out there. Here are the ones I have been looking at.

Welcome. Tell us a bit about yourself. What are you working on in the future garage? A little more in your profile would be nice. Go ahead, introduce yourself.
Gee, I never thought about the "house burn down" as a legitmate excuse for building a shop!! But your wife was smart enough to bring it up so SHE could have the garage. Smart lady. Have you been played?

Well I am just a car/truck guy. Been one since I used to watch my dad turn wrenches, made us watch from afar. I am currently working on a 1990 Chevrolet Truck. It has an LS1/4L60E, headers, custom built exhaust by me, 4" drop in the front and a rear 4 link to give it a mild rake. The front end was completely rebuilt. Paint and body work are next.
Found another one.
