New foundation question

My new foundation was just recently poured and I noticed that one of the pvc pipes for a water spicket was placed too close to the edge of the foundation and is now exposed to the exterior. The builder stated he would cover it with concrete but I’m curious if this could pose and long term side effects. Thank you I’m advance.

More than likely it will crack there, but its below grade so you will not see it. If its waterproofed correctly should not be an issue, unless a basement wall.

Is that even a concern in your South Carolina location?

It does freeze from time to time but just overnight for a few hours at most usually. There is no basements here in Charleston. Is there something specific I should ask the builder to do other than place additional concrete around that area?

how is he addressing the cut out plywood section? why didn't they just run overhead, would have been easier to coordinate...they could attempt a concrete patch, may or may not hold thought.

also did they run the plywood vertically with no staggered joints?

I'd ask him to make sure it's insulated..
