I've been reading several threads on GJ over the past month or so, and really appreciate all the information made available here.

My wife and I purchased a new house a few months ago that has a pretty slim 2-car garage. My plan is to build a proper garage in our backyard that will serve as a workshop/toy storage. I'm into building cars/trucks, so the current garage just won't do.

I'm currently deployed, so I get to spend a decent amount of time falling down the rabbit hole that is The Garage Journal. That works out pretty well as I am constantly learning more and more about building my new garage.

Thanks again for all the work you guys/gals put into making this a really great forum!

Hey Sean,
I'm mainly into Chevrolet stuff, but I love old Merc's, Buicks, etc. Of course I love Camaros, but right now I'm really looking at a 67 Chevelle. I haven't decided what I want to go with just yet, lol. Chevy II, Chevelle, & El Camino are all on the table. Camaros are just too damn high right now.

Aside from that I also play with rotary motors a lot.

Right now I've got all newer model stuff:
2013 Camaro
2005 Suburban Z71
2000 Silverado Z71
2005 RX8
1996 Pathfinder

Sounds like you have great taste in vehicles! I LOVE the 68-72 GM A body cars like the Chevelle, Skylark, Cutlass etc... I like how they have the lowest cost parts vs any other classic cars...

Yeah I love that about em as well. That's what I love about my pathfinder also. I bought it wrecked for $500 spent another $350 on parts, and had a great running work vehicle that gets over 20mpg.

Welcome from a fellow service member. Lots of info to click through, hopefully your internet works ok.
Thanks! The internet can be a bit sketchy, but overall it's been pretty decent. A lot less of a hassle than on previous deployments.
