Welcome from NC. I used to work in Anchorage and spent all my leisure time up in Archangel and Fishhook road scrambling around the mines. Pretty cool place.

Thanks. It's an amazing place to live. I do get jealous of places like NC though. I'd like to able to play golf year-round.

I may be able to play golf most of the year, but it is unlikely that my golf course will ever be used as a cross country ski track. You are in a nice place. I almost moved there permanently but now get there every other year at best. Last time was fishing on the Nushagak in the SW. Alaska is a fantastic state.
