Hello everyone,

I logged in to say hello to you all here. Hope you are good with what all the coronavirus craze going up around. I’m doing fine here and I will explain why I am here.

Since I need to build up more posts before I could start a new thread. I am going to start do a restoration of my old Snap On tool cabinet. I had it for years and years. It’s a 5 black drawer red cabinet on wheels. I got it from a friend as a trade in years ago.

I work as a autobody tech for years, now nearing to my retirement about few years left to go. Maybe less I guess. Been in for 32 years now. I work half of time on old vintage cars, some customers cars.

I’m hoping you can help me by telling where I can find stuff to clean up my old tool cabinet. I have it nearly stripped almost. Will post photos later. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately I have no information on Snap on tools and cabinets, they were priced well above what I was willing to spend.

At present I find myself at Harbor Freight which might be similar to Princes Auto.

Welcome to the forum from just north of Toronto.

There are quite a few threads where folks detail their tool box restorations.
