Good morning everyone,

My name is Glen from Douglasville, GA. I've been enjoying the forum for a while and have gotten some great ideas. I having to make do with a two car attached garage for the time being. I managed to do all the work on my Corvette while sharing space with woodworking and hot glass equipment. A couple of weeks ago my hand was forced when I purchased a 1973 Jensen Healey to restore.

I'm trying to formulate a plan to make everything fit or possibly put some of the equipment into offsite storage. We'd like to find a more rural area to move to in about 5 years so anything I do needs to be able to move with us.

Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Glen

72: I have been using my half of the 2 single car garage as a gym for years so i had to lease a garage to make a small repair shop until my wife retires or we move where i can build a big shop. it sounds like you might just need one of those temporary carports to keep the car you are not working on at the time under cover? maybe post a few pictures of your garage here or do a lot of reading on the many threads of Garage Journal.

good luck and don't feel like you are the lone ranger with the space issues.

welcome
