Hello! I've been lurking on this site for a few months now in preparation for my new garage/place, and now that we've finally closed on it I figured I'd actually register. I've learned a lot so far, and I'm looking forward to learning a lot more!
Now, a little about my new garage- It's only a small 2-car attached built about 10 years ago, measures 22x20, but it will work for what I need. I've always been involved with cars/motorcycles since I can remember, and even previously did it as a profession, so I do all my own work on vehicles. My immediate plans for it include:
-Painting the walls- It needs a fresh coat of paint on the drywall, however I'm most likely going to go with a 2-color scheme with some sort of stripe in the middle.
-Epoxy the floor- The concrete is in very good condition with no cracks, although it's a bit dirty. I might go with Armorpoxy here.
-Better lighting- I also detail cars for close friends as well as my own, so there's no such thing as too much light. The garage currently only has 2 bare bulbs in the ceiling, I'm looking at options to replace those with LED light bars.
So that's my introduction for now, I hope to meet and learn from you folks for many years to come!
