first off i must say im overly impressed with some of the garages i have seen here. WOW!!!

i had previously been using this space for a small side hustle, but now since a layoff i have been pumping out some serious full time work. i do paint and body, and vw service and performance.

only 3 bays, but i use it to the max.
i just installed a 75,000 btu gas furnace, with a digital thermostat. that beats the hell outta the kerosene heat i used to use.

i have equipped one bay as a paint booth, using 2 dual squirell cage fans to exhaust and pull fresh filtered air in from the main bays.

im running a 80 gal, single stage 5hp ir compressor, to a devilbiss refrig. drier, then to a tsunami water and oil filter setup, plumbed with prevost line for the most part.

im equipped with a press, parts washer, benchmount engine stand, welder, plasma cutter, and a fairly well snap on stuffed tool box.

recently added a little office space in the corner to take care of the necessary boss stuff. im hardwired with ethernet cable.

the most important and usefull part of the shop is the 1954 gm/ fridigidare beer fridge. works just like brand new, been in the family for 22 years. it was old back then.

place is a mess,,, usually not so un tidy, but so far monday and tuesday have been wide *** open. just thought id share. .

I like the separate paint room. I'm going to have to come up with something similar for my wood and metal projects.

What are your plans for the Corrado?

Aweswome shop, one suggestion , is to slip the flourescents into the stud spaces, and cover with safety glass. Easier to keep clean with a razor blade, and explosion proof, if sealed
