Guys, Been watching these forums from a far for along time. Had never been in a position to setup my garage the way I truly wanted, nor did I ever really have enough space.

Well finally 10 some years later I do. And First I have to thank the many that have shared their projects that i have quietly followed along. Many made me sit and dream of days to come.

Well I bought a home on 3 acres with a fairly large detached garage. House was built in 1951, the garage in 1967. I am one of those that will just do it, and learn by brail.

Im a Gear head by desire, but a Tech head by trade so I will have some cool stuff in my Shop/Garage. My first car project is a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 xl Convertible... She is in the garage, but the garage is not yet ready to take car of her..

As I followed many garage projects, many of you gave awesome ideas and help to those posting. I just hope some may be willing to part with their knowledge on mine.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the welcomes, Sorry I did not have the notify turned on so didn't notice anyone replied.

Ive added a couple of Picts of my Galaxie as it is now. The Engine is not the original when I bought it. If it was I may have thought of keeping it stock. But Im going to do all the modern updates as far as ride and comfort. But want the look to stay all Galaxie...

I will post updates on it and the Garage as I can. I did build a new work bench using an idea I saw on here. Some one used HarborFreight Toolboxes as part of their workbench. and must say I liked the idea. I had the same toolbox, However the rubber'ish coating on the casters one day just fell apart. Box had never moved, just started to lean one day. So I took off the casters and built it into my bench. I like it for my first try.
