Found this site after searching for some tool box info, had to sign up.
I'm a long time mechanic and tinkerer, with 30 years as a dealership light truck tech specializing in diesels and automatic transmissions.
I retired from the trade several years ago and continue to tinker as a hobby at home. I've got a rather extensive shop tool assortment and good size shop, (35x75' shop) complete with basic welding, machine, and mechanics tools. I probably have more tools and boxes here than the tool man has on his truck as the result of my time in various dealers working on various brands over the years. Most of my experience is with Ford, International, and Cummins.
I also spent about 10 years working on outboard motors and small engines both back when I first started out and more recently just for kicks helping out a buddy in a new business.
The inside of my shop shows a mix of old car parts, diesel engines, truck parts, and outboard motors currently in no particular order.
Its shows 30+ years of accumulation of parts and toys.
