Hi there, I'm new here. My name is Dave and I'm a shop owner from Northern MN. We perform classic auto restorations and custom automotive builds such as hot rod-street rods. I currently operate out of a 3000 sq ft building which was new in 2014. It houses all of my equipment including an automotive spray booth. I put up an additional building last year (shelled up, uninsulated) and I am getting ready to insulate and finish that second building this spring. This will bring us over 5000 sq ft (much needed).

I've browsed topics here for many years without joining. I don't have a ton of time for internet forums these days But I look forward to checking in from time to time. Glad to be here.

Welcome Northerndave. Post some pics of some projects underway. Folks who do classic restorations commercially not too common locally.
I also do restorations but just for the shear joy of constant aggravation.:bounce:
I'm just up the road

Welcome from the Iron Range!

Where abouts are you? I'm in Eveleth and, at some point might need a good paint job for a '49 Chevy 5 window.

Wow! That's a pile of work on the Mustang. Nice work.
I did full floor pans on my '68 firebird. Now i know why shops charge the hours they do for pans on these cars. What a tedious and time consuming job and pulling the subframe is really the only way to determine the condition of cab mounts IMO..mine were shot!

Yeah, you really have to get into it and explore.

I don't get time to work on any of my own projects. The wife and I own a 64 galaxie 500 2 dr, x code 390/cruisomatic trans, a 1959 chev biscayne 2 dr with an inline 235, soon to get either a stroked SBC or a W engine (probably 348). a 54 chev 210 2 dr and some trucks.

Our current big project is a 35 plymouth 4 dr sedan. It's been consuming all of our efforts. It's getting close tho.
6.4 gen 3 hemi, 545 rfe auto trans, 9" rear on coil overs, 4 link-panhard bar, Mustang 2 style IFS, power rack, Power disc brakes, air conditioning... the works.

Your Plymouth seems to be coming along nicely.

Great work on the Mustang

I saw your Galaxie in the background.

Here’s a pic of my ‘62
