Welcome to Garage Journal. We have a bunch of great guys in here from Ohio. If you don't mind, would you put your State name in your profile? That way, any certain questions can be answered easier than people not knowing where you are from. We have a lot of people from the N.E. portion of the State. Up around the Cleveland-Akron area. Quite a few from Columbus, and quite a few from the Dayton-Cincinnati area. Myself, I am originally from Bellefontaine, Ohio (the highest point in Ohio, the first concrete street in the U.S, and also the shortest street in the U.S. and possibly the world. I moved 20 years ago due south from Bellefontaine and now live in Urbana.
If you don't mind saying, what city or town do you hail from?
Being a "traveling machinist" you'll get to know a lot of people in the Fabrication Forum. There is a lot of machinist on here. Myself, I started life as a Tool Designer and ended up going on Disability after 30+ years in the trade and retired as a Tool and Die Maker
Oh...and one other thing, which is a mandatory requirement, or at least I think it should be, maybe.......we like to see pics of garages, workshops, and anything you've made, and pics of the neighbors wife. You'll soon find out about the neighbors wife.
We're always glad to see another member joining up. Again, welcome to the site. Post up some pics. Oh yea...I think pics of toolboxes are also quite mandatory, especially it it is Snap-On.
Just kidding!!!! Enjoy the site, and I guarantee, you'll spend many hours on here, along with coming up with excuses to tell the wife why you all of a sudden now need to do this, or do that to the garage. Just don't blame us though
