New from Ottawa, ON

Hi everyone. I am coming in from Ottawa, ON, Canada. Buying our first house right now and although I have been browsing around the site in the past, I decided to join now to get some ideas about finishing the garage.

It is a small BARELY one car garage that will be used for storage and motorcycle projects and will not see any vehicles parked inside. We will have a small storage shed in the back yard for lawn mower, weed whacker, rakes, shovels, gas cans, deep fryer, etc.

Anyways, love the information I have found so far and look forward to posting my own garage project in the near future.

Welcome to GJ, Nick. Congrats on the new place. Good plan so far... garden stuff stays out of the sacred space of the garage! You could consider the 1-car space a stepping stone...
