Thanks for all the very helpful posts. Its been a big help planning my new garage. The basics, lights, floors, etc, are all covered very well.
Recently retired and am building my "dream garage." Size is 46 by 32 (for now) --seems to keep growing. Shooting for 15-16 ft ceiling so I can put in lifts for repairs and, if I get really lucky, more car storage.
At the clearing stage now. Hope to get the excavation done and the footings poured in the next few weeks so work can progress over the winter. I'd really like to get it finished before summer.
Will undoubtably have questions as this progresses. TIA for the help.
