Hello everyone, I thought I formally introduce myself. I am fascinated that there is a site for garage builds and what not. I am a tinker through and through when I am home on my rotations. Either it be building my diesel truck or woodworking to pay for the diesel truck parts. Or just random projects around the house.
I live in Central PA, but really that's home, I work overseas for a small aviation firm who maintains and trains on S70i and S92 aircraft maintenance.
I've been in working in the aviation field for 15 years, 6 of those were in the Army. Now after all those years I'm finally getting ready to build my dream garage. Which in fact starts today. I'm excited to see the progress since I've been informed its going to only take 3 days. I was hesitant on using a contractor but the company I choose has a great reputation. I was 90% sure I was just going to build it myself. However time is money and I didn't want to take a whole rotation building a pole barn myself.
Hope to get to know some people and learn a few things or even help/assist someone in their projects
