This is my first post here, i am very happy that i find this board.This is my working progress .
I start my project last winter, i have a garage 16 x 22 in the house, i redone everything , electricity, drywall, add 2 window,new door ,heater, the trust and many many more....Here are picture of my new cabinet (that i built my self)with my new stainless bench ...this is not finish yet $$$$ but slowly i will finish it...I will have picture before the swap later...Sorry for my funny english, i speak french ...

Welcome aboard Rolly. Looks like a very clean, well thought out space. I wish I had to the woodworking skills to build my own cabinets. Those look great. I love the stainless counter top.

Nice setup What type of heater is that and how many square feet does it supposingly heat. The reason I ask is that I am looking for something to put in a 20' x 20' area that has 8' ceilings.

Thanks for the nice comment ...I dont really collect Tin truck anymore, i am more in 1/18 VW Porsche, i was taking picture for Ebay but i post them here because i find them very nice on my stainless bench

I use my home systeme for heater and i also have a contractor heater when i work in the garage, and a ceiling fan to blow the heat down..

It's nice to see the before and after shots. I wish I had taken more "before" pics when doing the Garagenous Zone.

Had you considered leaving the brick wall unpainted and exposed as an architectural element? I've seen at least one garage (Sandoval?) that used it to help create a certain look.

I like the stainless counters and the clean look of the space overall- it makes it more fun to be in the garage when things are clean and orderly, doesn't it? The countertops look like they are from Lista- or did you source them locally?

For the brick , it was a hard decision ,i think about it alot during the reconstruction but my house does have this brick all around ,in my living room , i have 2 wall cover with that brick ..I really want to have a clear and differant look in my garage so i fix all the holes and i paint it!! The brick was not as nice as Sandoval...I am very happy with the result..

I built the cabinet my selfthey are made with what we call mélamine, the door are in mélamine to but they have a(stainless look) ..The contertop is made with 2 thickness of 3/4 mdf that i glue and screw together, i got my stainless steel at a local metal shop...I bring my MDF there so they can exactly fit the stainless on it...I glue it with silicone...

This is a old tin truck made in Canada By minitoys udasco ltd, but i dont really know what year it is!!..Pretty clean for the year!!

Many thanks, i just receive a nive Porsche phone dial wheels from the polishing to make a hose holder! but i didn't install it yet because i have 2 car in the garage for the winter!!
