Hey everyone. I am here to start the planning process. I am looking to break ground in about two years. I am a Program Manager for an aerospace company so I like to plan things well in advance and not have any surprises:shocking:.

My current attached garage is 2.75 but is VERY shallow because it has a set of stairs going to the basement. I have a 2001 Subaru Impreza 4 door that has about 18" of clearance between the bumper and garage door if the nose is touching the wall. I am eventually going to buy a longer vehicle and don't want to keep it out side. I am pretty sold on building a two door detached with a lift, but I'm trying to find the correct floor plan that will not break the bank. I was watching youtube the other day and found this video that looks like a great setup. I'm debating on a pull through set up as well. Anyways, I'm here to gain knowledge. Thanks for having me. Youtube video is below, and I will post some pics of my current shallow garage set up.

Thanks,
Sean:beer:

View from the other side. I'm debating not having a detached but getting rid of the deck behind the clump of trees and attaching it to the existing garage .
