Hello to all. This is a pretty good forum for me as my wife and I are going to be starting construction on a new house in a couple of months.
The garage I'm planning will be a six car - four car across the front and a two car bump-out off the back of the garage. That part will house my shop (primarily for woodworking).
I've been researching all sorts of things - electrical for lighting and power, heating, floor covering, layout, plumbing, etc. Recently have been looking at epoxy for the floor but now am leaning toward using Tuff-Seal floor tiles.
It's great to have such a wealth of information available from GJ.

I was just writing about Spokane in another thread. Don't read it, because you wont come there if you do! :D I live an hour and fifteen minutes away over by Spirit Lake, Priest River. Howdy neighbor!

North Idaho is great. Lots of beautiful lakes. I grew up in Spokane and one thing I always looked forward to was going up to Priest Lake in the summer. Haven't been to Spirit Lake yet but have played golf at Twin Lakes and have spent lots of time in Coeur d'Alene.

Actually, we'll be moving to Liberty Lake which is about as close to Idaho as you can get and still be in Washington.

Many years ago, Priest lake was stunning. It still is, but the whole lake is owned by Washington folks anymore, you can't go anywhere on land around the lake except a few public areas and launches and even then, the owners nearby try to rail road you into thinking you're on private land. I used to build docks on Priest Lake at Blue Diamond marina. Lots of decent folks there, but lots of chumps too. I live minutes from Spirit Lake and Twin lakes. ever get a chance to fish The Hoodoo, stop by my place!
