I found this site through the HAMB. I figured I would register so I can use the search function. Hopefully in the near future I'll be building a shop and this site seems to be the place to look for advice.
I live in southeast Texas, east of Houston; not on the water, but close enough to have to have a building that can withstand 120 mph winds. I'll need advice in these area also. I've been researching buildings for several years and this site maybe the place I've missed for so many years.
I'm new to building Hot Rods, but not to car building. I've built and repaired numerous racecars in the last 10+ years or so. My family and I moved from our old house simply because the shop was too small. We found a place where I could build a much bigger shop, but due to the economy I have yet to build one. Maybe I should have stayed. Anyway I'm looking forward to reading up on steel buildings and such. Thanks for reading.
