Found the journal while searching for info on installation of high lift garage doors. I've built (well, I didn't build it) a 24x30 detached garage with 2 bays. I want to eventually put in a 4-post lift so I designed it with an 11 foot ceiling. Attic loft above for storage. I'm into British sports cars and have 2 MGB's that I've restored. Needed more space for "stuff"!!

Finding info on high lift doors and installation seems to be a challenge so hoping there's some good advice and recommendations here.

Robert (?): there are a ton of threads about lifts, but since i don't own one i can't tell you which one to look at or recommend one. when i build my shop in a few years the one i like the best so far is the Max Jax because i don't need it for commercial vehicles and it has great reviews from all the members that own one that i've read.

Hi and welcome to the forum RobertsMGB, no doubt about it there is some great advice here.

You will also find that there is several MG owners on the forum as well, I am currently rebuilding a K series MG F engine for my eldest sons race car.
