New hobbiest here. Been enjoying looking around the forums and getting tool and workshop ideas. I work on my "toys" outta my own garage. Also do a little work for a few friends here in there. I'm really into high-performance vintage VW's, my own street car is capable of 13.90 passes and gets 33 mpg. Look forward to exploring these forums more.

67: i learned to drive on a '63 VW bug when i was 12 and still love them. i hated the heater and the fact that it always had engine issues, but it was a blast to drive. also learning to drive a manual when i was that young helped me more times than i can count when i needed to help friends learn or to drive big trucks when nobody else had a clue how to.

i like the vintage of your cars and since i usually hang in the vintage tools section i wanted to make sure to give you a warm welcome.

hope you like the forum and ask questions on threads talking about what you are wanting to know works best. there are a lot of helpful members here. not all are positive or nice so learn to get a little tough skin, but for the most part we are a great group and very active and passionate about tools, cars and garages and life.

cheers
