Good afternoon one and all and greetings from the Great White North.
I enjoy driving - all classes of vehicles and especially motorcycles - and restoring old vehicles and mechanical odds and ends. I hate the way we are being forced into adopting the "throw away" mentality. I am not an ecoenvirowarrier but reusing, restoring and recycling just make so much sense to me. Consequently, I have a yard full of partially completed projects and bits and pieces which I'm sure will come in useful sometime!
I am looking for a Cole drill and vise and will place a wanted note in the classifieds.
I hope to contribute as much as i am able and look forward to learning lots of new tips and ideas.

and I agree with your view about our throw away society and our need to be more thoughtfull to re-use

the good news is that you have just connected yourself with a whole bunch of re-use addicts
we recycle tools, cars, shelves, toolboxes and just about anything else we can find for a bargain

Welcome. Hot rodders - IMHO - are among the great recyclers. I'm not able to throw anything away without giving it the hairy eye ball about "what could I use this for...."
