Hi all, having a new garage built. Planning to run electrical from the main house later as well as some conduit for network.

Question now would it be better to rough in 2" conduit and 3/4 or 1" conduit through the slab or just come up and LB into the building after the fact?

I'm just getting started with my garage build now. I went through the foundation so it would end up directly in the wall cavity where the panel will be located. I ran a 1.5" sch40 PVC for power (the 2" shown turned out to be overkill for me) and a separate 1" located about 16" away for data/video. I personally like this idea since it will be completely hidden. Also since there is no exposed conduit, it will be protected from any possible damage later on. If you go through concrete, be sure to use PVC.

I confirmed with my local inspectors that this is not an issue. Also, they told me that you cannot run gas through the foundation, it must enter the building from above grade.
