g'day all!! as usual, I stumbled across this web site in the vastness of cyberspace.... vastness.... is that a word? Absolutely love some of the ideas I've seen so far!!!

awesome collection of garages..... my compliments to the owners.....

here is my humble attempt.... a simple 24x24x10ft ceiling.... and my two toys! a '48 CJ2A and '71 Mercedes Unimog 404. he two actually fit inside nicely with room to work on them..... and that's about it!

sorry for the delay..... busy with life..... ( read wife put me to work on home renos....)

this particular mog is an ex Swiss army version. gas 6 cyl., 80 hp, six speed trans, coil spring suspension, portal axles, mechanical lockers, axle ratio: 7.56:1, about 16 inch ground clearance at the diffs..... all in all one of the best, if not the best 4x4 in the world...

I read somewhere, that these ex military unimogs make the best recreational mogs!

I use it for firewood, 4 wheeling, fishing, etc.

I recently took it on a 3000 kilometer trip from north central BC to Oregon, for Northwest Mogfest! uh, that's 3000k at an average speed of 70-80 k

http://www.northwestmogfest.com/past_events/nwmf2005/

It was a great experience!!!! I hope to return next year!!!

The stove? just an old woodstove!

Mogfest Video teaser

Bobnorth,
The video teaser was wild. The full version should be even wilder. I'm looking forward to seeing that. Was the gentleman with the beard a blacksmith?? Do you bring a blacksmith with you to repair the Mogs if they need it?!?

the floor coating is nothing fancy..... just a simple concrete paint from Cloverdale Paint (55 locations in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Washington State to serve you!!!)

i picked a rust color..... plenty of welding, grinding, dropping **** and after a year it needs a recoat!

Nice garage, I like the flooring. It looks alot like the stuff they use in power plants and paper mills, durable as can be and can withstand almost anything we could throw at it. Don't take this an an insulting question but did you do the floor yourself or pay someone to do it? If you did it was it difficult/ expensive? Thanks,

Jimmy
