Passed final electrical today. After getting knocked down for not having tamper resistant plugs on 120v outlets. I find this funny when on next stud over there is a 220v outlet for air compressor that don't have to be tamper resistant. Well final building will be tomorrow hope it goes well.

Awesome job so far. Any future upgrades planned for the SN95?

Ya over winter I'm going to switch it over to e85 and turn up boost. Might swap to bigger blower if budget allows. Hoping to make about 650rwhp that's the goal anyway.

Very nice. I can't find time to work on my own projects or my garage. I'm the only guy who will do a heater core for a decent charge around here. I just wrapped up a 86 GT vert and did all the window motors and the top lines. Got a 01-02 GT inbound for a heater core and a fox behind it.

Got mustang back home looks like all my measurements checked out. Even with garage door open I can lift it 6'2" so car is off ground 6-8" so even my tallest friends will be able to walk under car on lift. I will gain almost 10" if I have to close garage door. Truck stuff will have to be done on a stool most likely.

I intend to add on to my existing single car garage someday. I was wondering about a few things as I'm a total newbie. Did you spend a lot of time planning things out before getting the plans drawn or did you just have a contractor come over and hash out the basics together? I don't even know where to start, but I don't want to waste a professional's time with a "someday" dreamer's project either. What does it cost to have plans drawn up?

Nice work and nice car too, I sold my Terminator a few months ago.

I had a local guy who works for a truss company come over and draw my plans. He charged me $500. I have a friend that is a awesome carpenter and he did rough in for me. I went to township and check to see if I could even do it first. Did all the basic homework before having architect come out. Once I had prints got a few estimates from concrete guys and quotes on lumber etc. we went over our budget by 10% but we went with some stuff that was more expensive than we thought like ripping out entire side walk in back and doing it in exposed aggregate. I'm happy with the way it all tuned out.

Did you pour the floor thicker to be able to add the lift later? Any special work done to accommodate that?

Yup dug down a few extra inches in a 4x4 area where each post will go. Instructions for the lift I'm purchasing says 4" of 4000psi concrete so I should be at 7" under each pad. Only thing I over looked it if I get a asymmetric lift it needs to be farther forward per say. So lift won't be centered in the highest point of ceiling. Car won't be a issue but when I get truck on it could be. If it is a big issue I will just saw cut out new pad areas and re pour them. I'm gonna epoxy next year so it will get covered up anyway.
