Greetings! Came across the GJ as I was searching cool stuff to make my new garage a great Man Cave but yet be functional in all aspects of what a garage should be.
I am 60 yo and recently retired after working 33 yrs in the brewing industry. Last year we built a 36 X 24 detached garage with walk up attic. I want to use Budweiser, Harley-Davidson and Washington Redskins in the "decor" but not loose site of it's purpose. Number one being, store my truck and bike. However when I back the truck out, I want to use it as a wood shop, bike maintenance and ENTERTAINMENT!
I am currently working on the wiring and insulation. Trying to anticipate all my needs and wants is difficult. However, since I retired on 4/30 I have not struck 1 tap in that garage as I have bee so busy with other ****. In addition I am trying to fix up the attached garage for my wife. I have added Gladiator GearWall and Seville metal cabinets in her garage and slowing taking out the Lowe's melamine cabinets we have had for years.http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/images/smilies/eyecrazy.gif
