Hi,
we are breaking ground in May for our new house and attached garage.
Plans are for the garage to be about 30 deep and 60 wide, with gable roof.
Right now planning on 9ft walls with a single bay having a 12' tray ceiling in order to have a 2 post hoist, and the rest will be attic trusses in order to get all storage above the garage work area. Great place for the compressor and the dust collector, all the noisy pieces,, and the left over parts.
So question is for those who have built, are there now things you wish you had done different if you could do it over again.
Looking for ideas where I have missed something. Maybe less attic storage and more 12' ceilings?
Thanks kj
