I've been lurking on here for quite some time looking for ideas, etc... I've been renting a shop to keep all my stuff in for several years. The issue is that it is 20 minutes from my house. So, I don't have time to "just run out to the shop" to work on stuff. As such, all my projects have been on hold for quite some time.
I was going to put the shop up when I built my house, but I ate up my original shop budget with add-ons to the house. As such, I'm now putting the shop up. This forum has been a great help with suggestions on flooring, etc...
Neighborhood deed restrictions kep me from putting up a metal building, so it is a conventional stick framed structure (Like a house). Dimensions are 50'x50' x 19' tall. We engineered the trusses to have an opening in them as well which gained me a space of 20x50x10'. So, I picked up 1000sq ft of space from "dead space".

Shop as of last Wednesday.
I need to update photos tonight. It has techshield on all 4 sides, Hardi-plank on two sides, and half the roof deck on. We had rain today, but the plan is to have all the exterior done by Wed, and put on the shingles. I think the rain will push all that back till Friday however, but I hope to have the roof on by Friday or Monday.
