New garage door sound level

Hey guys, got a new Clopay garage door installed. Honestly, I've never had an electronic garage door before so I don't know what noise level it should be at. I recorded the sound first for closing the door and then opening. It seems OK and I hear most of the sound when the rollers are moving a little bit more to accommodate the next frame coming down, but wanted to get an opinion here

Thanks!

I honestly didn't pay attention to the noise level when opening and closing when I replaced a Wayne Dalton insulated door with a Clopay insulated door, but the amount of outside noise stopped by the Clopay vs WD is night and day!
Very happy with the Clopay, hopefully yours will be as good.

It's more a matter of the rolling hardware than the electronic opener that determines how noisy garage door operation is.

My garage door quieted immensely once I replaced the worn rollers with ball bearing equipped nylon wheels. I know they won't last as long as steel-on-steel wheels, but they are considered expendable and not that expensive if you DIY.

I'm sure it sounds better than the seat belt unbuckling, opening the car door, fumbling for the garage door key, and finalky opening the door. Not to me reversing the last 2 or 3 items closing it.👍😆
