I have a cinder block 2-car garage with 9x7 garage doors. They are old and wood and falling apart. I think the garage was built in the late 70's or early 80's. Some of the pressboard panels in the wood garage doors are starting to swell, rot, and fall out. I need to replace the garage doors, but I don't want to go high quality since I plan on selling the property in the next year or so. I don't need insulated doors since the garage is not climate controlled.
Should I just get the cheapest doors from Home Depot or Lowes for about $300 or should I get something better? I will reuse the Craftsman chain drive door openers that someone added at some point after the garage was built.
