I looking to put down 100% solid epoxy prior to move in, the slab should have at least a 4 month cure on it prior to starting. My question is are there options I can have the builder do to finish it or not finish it to help with the prep prior to starting?

Smooth trowel finish. You will have to grind or etch for prep regardless of the way he leaves it and you don't want it heavily textured as it will telegraph through the coating.

Thanks for the info, I thought I read somewhere about "sealing" it. Is this a normal way to finish? And does it make it harder to get a good profile?
