Hello Garage Journal,

My name is Roger, living in Spokane, WA with a detached 2 car garage. I've gotten so many hints and tips checking out all the projects on this site. My garage project is slowly getting prioritized. As we all know the dominos game of garages, I am no different, but the projects are getting knocked out. New power, new windows, new doors, insulation, heat, going from 2 garage doors to 1, gantry crane, etc. That doesn't include a home to refurbish, two project Jeeps and a 6 year old daughter running around.

I'll start getting some pictures up soon and get a build post going. I've been an aircraft mechanic for about 25 years now and a car mechanic before that. I can offer up as much advice as I can and look forward to weeding through everyone else's stuff.

Cheers!!

Welcome! I just recently moved to Harrington, about 50 miles from Spokane.
Ironically, I was also an A&P and owned an automotive repair shop, so by default also an auto mechanic.
Worked on multi engine turbine helicopters from 2001-2015.

Welcome. I’m interested in the work you’ve done on the garage itself to start with.
Haven't done much yet, the To-Do list is way longer than the completed list. Hope to finish the power feed this week then it's going in with all the circuits. Like I said, I'll have to start a thread on it.

Been in Spokane for about 12 years now. Currently working on fire retardant bombers but I'm a helicopter guy from at least '98 to 2013. Bell 212/412s and Sikorsky stuff.

Most of my stint was 212's. Offshore oilfield and Wildland firefighting.
I also did 3 years on 412-EP's on a Military Medevac contract. 24 hour double crewed IFR w/ NVG and a hoist. And 1 mechanic.
