New garage help

I'm in the planning process right now. I would like some feedback on a garage that I will be starting on in less than a year. I'm thinking about a 24'x40'x10 stick built garage with a vaulted ceiling in the middle and truss storage on both ends. I plan on using this garage for mainly woodworking but will also pull my vehicles in to service and work on them. I also plan on having a toilet and sink in the corner. Any advice is appreciated . (Dos and don'ts) I plan on doing all the work besides concrete/footings.

I am planning on installing two doors. Both overhead doors are 9' tall . Prob one single car and one double(16'). I live in southern il. I'm not sure what zone it is.

My sight is is clear and sloped a bit (2 ft drop over 30ft give or take)
