new garage input needed

Hey guys I am new to this forum and I appreciate your input. I just bought a new house and it has a 20x40x10 detached garage. It is very well built with plenty of electrical. However it is not insulated or heated. I want to turn it into a workshop/man cave. The walls are all studs and the ceiling is just open. I would love to get some ideas for materials for the ceiling, insulation and walls. I would rather not do sheet rock. I don't want to spend a ton of money but I want to do it right.

Location?
Trusses or rafters?
2x4 or 2x6 walls?
16 or 24 inches on center?
Soffit and ridge vent or gable vents?

Whats wrong with drywall? Get your heating system in order first, insulate, etc. Those guys move with light speed as compared to me.
