Hi folks. I am thinking of putting better lighting in my garage so I can actually see to work when the sun goes down. I think 4ft led fixtures may be the way to go. It's a small garage 1 1/2 car with 8ft ceilings. Any suggestions would be great.

I've been pleased with CostCo Feit LED fixtures. They probably aren't the greatest overall performance but are definitely the best fixtures I've had yet. Very happy with the insta-start to full brightness even in very cold weather.

Bottom line is I would go with outlets instead of hardwired fixtures so if the technology changes again in 10 years you're right there.
